The logos holds always but humans always prove unable to ever understand it, both before hearing it and when they have first heard it. For though all things come to be in accordance with this logos, humans are like the inexperienced when they experience such words and deeds as I set out, distinguishing each in accordance with its nature and saying how it is. But other people fail to notice what they do when awake, just as they forget what they do while asleep.

and it went like this, God created the heavens and the earth ; then he concieved the word, for his word was the pernnial "Logos" (or so they say). And established its reign amongst mankind, the very few whom got to grasp the fragmeneted (yet one) parts of the Logos were meant to be great men ; the brahmins of the hindus, the judeo-christian and later on islamic prophets et cetera..

The logos holds always but humans always prove unable to ever understand it

The logos ended up to be misunderstood, vulgarized, dragged down to match the banality of man ; for when man can not reach the heavens, he shall bring them down to his akinity and in the process stain the eternal word of Deus. The monolith of such a crime was the Chruch, for it assimilated the word of God to satisfy its carnal agenda ; distrust is at an all-time high (or so we thought).

This world, which is the same for all, no one of gods or men has made. But it always was, is, and will be: an ever-living Fire, with measures of it kindling, and measures going out.

- Heraclitus, DK B-30

A new measure ought to light up, brighter than ever ; it was time for the Eros to rise and shine as our new "diety". La renaissance being the main culprit (the Eros is not a crime, shaping it into the Zeitgeist is), taking influence from "les vestiges de la civilisation greco-romane" the anthropos now had a plethora of simulacric dieties to abide by ; romanticisim, humanism, "rationalism", an ersatz of "The One". "God is dead" became the leitmotiv of that era, the "jéjune" Beni-Adam commited a primoridal "faute" ; confusing the simulacrum with the unmoved mover, God was and always is alive but his "idea" became veiled by the Zeitgeist. The aesthetic superceded the (supra)rational.

‘the children of dark Night…Sleep and Death, awful gods. The glowing Sun never looks upon them with his beams, neither as he goes up into heaven, nor as he comes down from heaven. And the former of them roams peacefully over the earth and the sea’s broad back and is kindly to men; but the other has a heart of iron, and his spirit within him is pitiless as bronze: whomever of men he has once seized he holds fast: and he is hateful even to the deathless gods.’

- Hesiod, Theogony v.758 – 765

post-scriptum

prima : by adopting the Guenonian-view of the historical's cyclic nature ; Logos,Eros and Thanatos were always present alongside one another. Our review takes in consideration the prevalent mode (prima-motor) of the zeitgeist. the eros existed within the greeks in a logos-dominant epoch, thanatos manifested itself with the moguls for instance.
secunda : to lay a more concrete foundation of the afromentioned notions , one has to look into the islamo-christian dichotomy of Cain/Abel ; Cain representing the destructive Thanatos and Abel being the one who "died, but through his faith he still speaks." (Hebrews 11:4) representing the Logos. The Islamic interpretation offers a deeper perspective into the story as is presented in the below excrept :

[Prophet], tell them the truth about the story of Adam's two sons: each of them offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one and not the other. One said, 'I will kill you,' but the other said, 'God only accepts the sacrifice of those who are mindful of Him. If you raise your hand to kill me, I will not raise mine to kill you. I fear God, the Lord of all worlds, and I would rather you were burdened with my sins as well as yours and became an inhabitant of the Fire: such is the evildoers' reward.' But his soul prompted him to kill his brother: he killed him and became one of the losers. God sent a raven to scratch up the ground and show him how to cover his brother's corpse and he said, 'Woe is me! Could I not have been like this raven and covered up my brother's body?' He became remorseful.

- Quran 5:21-27 (Surah Al-Ma'ida)

the image becomes more distinct when we take into consideration the exegesis of some scholars, most notably Ibn Abbas and Ibn Masood that Cain had a sister called Acclima ; prettier and more desirable than Abel's they both favored her hand in marraige and thus Adam (by the accordance of God) declared sacrifice a necessity for both in order to determine whom is worthier, the story follows as in the Quran.

he who has a keen eye shall see that Acclima is a clear metaphor for the Eros (we gently remind everyone that we are not partaking in the ways of the الباطنية by rendering the quran into a mere amalgamation of the esoteric,we ought to take into account both the literal/historical aspect and the metaphorical); an object of desire for both the Logos and the Thanatos yet an inspiration of destruction and annahilation for the latter, and a Ying-Yang complement to the former. a relationship which is clearly shown in C.G Jung's syzygy of the anima/animus,quoting :

Woman's psychology is founded on the principle of Eros, the great binder and loosener, whereas from ancient times the ruling principle ascribed to man is Logos. The concept of Eros could be expressed in modern terms as psychic relatedness, and that of Logos as objective interest.

- C.G Jung, “Woman in Europe” (1927); paragraph 255.
